The Book Discussion Group meets usually the fourth Sunday of the month from 7-8 p.m. at Shorewood Commons, 2115 2nd Street SW.  Anyone interested in talking about books is welcome.

Last fall we read "Can't wait to get to Heaven" (Flagg), "The Gang of One; memoirs of a red guard" (Shen), and "The year of magical thinking" (Didion).

This year we will read:

        January     "Digging to America" (Tyler)

        February    "Lies My Teach Told Me" (Loewen) the Rochester Reads book for 2007

        March        "Small Island" (Levy)

        April            "Mildred Pierce" (Cain)

        May            "Big Stone Gap" (Trigiani).
